APP/Windows OS: Smart App Control completely blocks the app from running now

2

Smart App Control in Windows completely blocks the app now. This is new behavior (in the last few versions). Because Smart App Control doesn’t allow whitelisting specific .exe files, it’s now impossible to run the app without disabling the Smart App feature of Windows security altogether (which is a real security risk since any app can run now). It’s worth pursuing whatever necessary actions to get the app officially recognized by Microsoft or you’ll probably run into issues where people request refunds because they don’t feel safe disabling that OS feature.

  1. Hi. It will be blocked, we added notice when you download plugin. Windows doesn’t like terminal tools and parsers, but app is signed by EV organization certificate and free from any viruses, we also send files to Windows marking them as false detected, but Windows have reputation per file and not by publisher, so each new update will purge previous reputation and new users will be blocked. The only way is to make updates very rarely which we can’t do now

  2. In last update we changed pack logic for Windows. It should not block now
