Currently, there is no way to choose a render file name and location in any of the views in the app. A chooser should pop up which allows the user to enter a file name and location with an option to import media into the project on successful render.

Render engine in 4.0 completely overwritten so it should work differently from what we have now

@igor I’m still not seeing a way to choose a render name and location before export. I understand the flow you’re looking for is people can just click the render button and it automatically gets added to the current project/board. But I still feel there should be a way to export to a specific location with a specific name without having to actually add the output file to the board or workspace. Many times, you don’t want your rendered file to become part of the project (especially if exporting 100s of files)
