VIDEO EDITOR: Ability to add audio effects (VST3, AU) to audio

Eventually, I think the video editor should have the ability to add audio effects (VST3, AU) to audio. This is more of a Life Goals request more than a must add because I know this opens a whole can of worms… How do you select just a clip’s audio? How do you apply effects to an entire channel (such as track wide compression, etc.)?

But I think this would be super helpful and is one of the few key elements missing from stopping users from completely transitioning from some of the other video editing apps
