Hi team,
I’d like to suggest an improvement regarding how the folder tree navigation handles expanding and collapsing.
Currently, when navigating nested folders (e.g., Folder 1 / 1.1 / 1.2 and Folder 2 / 2.1 / 2.2), clicking a top-level folder works as expected. However, we run into two issues deeper in the flow:
- Auto-expanding irrelevant folders: Clicking a specific subfolder causes all other main folders and their subfolders to automatically expand. With multiple projects, this creates a lot of clutter and makes navigation confusing.
- Loss of active folder state: While working on a board, the sidebar hides nicely. But upon re-opening the menu to switch tasks, the folder tree completely collapses back to its default state instead of keeping the current location open.
Expected behavior:
- Selecting a subfolder should only expand that specific active branch, keeping unrelated main folders collapsed.
- Re-opening the navigation panel should remember and automatically expand the active folder path where the current board is located.
This would make working with deeper folder structures much smoother.
