What lands on the board

• Video file — best available MP4 with audio, no TikTok logo or watermark.
• Poster — first-frame thumbnail.
• Caption — captured in the element metadata.

The video keeps the original 9:16 aspect ratio.

Slideshow posts

TikTok also publishes image-only “slideshow” posts. These come in as a group of image elements — one per slide — with the audio extracted as a separate audio element if present.

Limits

• Private or follower-only accounts cannot be downloaded.
• Region-locked content gets a region-blocked error.
• The TikTok URL signing is updated periodically; if pastes start failing across the board, update the app for the latest URL parser.
