GreenLight DashBoard treats an HTML card as a first-class board element. Add or generate a card, preview it live on the canvas, edit it with AI or in a built-in visual editor, and turn an animated card into a screenshot or a video — all in the app. Markdown and PDF files preview the same way.
What it supports
- HTML cards — an
.htmldocument that becomes a live, previewing element. Markdown (.md) and PDF (.pdf) files are supported too. - Edit with AI — the card’s AI button opens the Board Agent focused on that card and it rewrites the HTML in place.
- Edit visually — the card’s Edit button opens the built-in visual editor so you can change it without touching code; Markdown gets a dedicated formatting toolbar.
- Render to image or video — capture a screenshot of a card, or render an animated card to a video file placed on the board.
- Preview in place — HTML, Markdown, and PDF elements render their content directly on the canvas, no external app needed.
Where cards come from
- Imported — drag or drop an
.htmlfile onto a board, or paste HTML. - Generated — ask the Board Agent to create a card; it adds the element and writes the HTML for you.
- Authored — create a card and write it in the visual editor.
Why HTML
An HTML card is a flexible design surface: it can be a static layout (a quote card, a title frame) or a full CSS/JS animation. Because the app can both preview it live and render it to PNG or MP4, an HTML card doubles as a design you can drop straight into a video project or export as an image.
Where to go next
- Editing with AI and the Visual Editor
- Screenshots and Video Renders
- Previewing HTML, Markdown, and PDF
- Exporting to WordPress and Bricks — push a card to a live site as GreenShift blocks, core HTML or native Bricks elements
