License Activation

GreenLight DashBoard has two tiers: a free plan and a Pro plan. The free plan covers the core canvas, AI generation with your own keys, the video editor, and most local features. The Pro plan unlocks the agentic workflow, board sharing, premium templates, and desktop auto-updates.

Open the Account panel

Click the avatar in the top-right corner of the app to open the Account panel.

The panel shows your current plan and the features included with Pro:

• GLAI agentic workflow — multi-step actions through the Agent Dock.
• After Effects integration — inspect boards and render directly into an AE composition.
• Desktop auto-updates — automatic delivery of new releases.
• MotionFast template library — the full preset catalogue inside the Video Editor.
• Board templates — start a new board from a curated template.
• Live board sharing — publish boards with comments through Cloudflare.

Buy a license

Click Upgrade now to open the pricing page at https://greenlightdash.pro/pricing. After checkout you receive a license key by email.

Enter a license key

Back in the Account panel, click Already have a License Key? and paste your key into the field.

Click Activate. The app validates the key against greenlightdash.pro and, on success, marks the plan as Pro. The validation result is cached locally; you do not need to be online to use Pro features afterwards.

Offline grace period

After a successful activation the app re-validates the license periodically. If validation fails because you are offline, the Pro features keep working for a seven-day grace period. After that the app falls back to the free tier until it can reach the licensing server again.

Move a license to another machine

License keys are not pinned to hardware. To move to a new computer:

1. Install GreenLight DashBoard on the new machine.
2. Open the Account panel and paste the same license key.
3. Activate.

If you want to deactivate the old machine, open Account → Already have a License Key? → Deactivate before reinstalling elsewhere.

Troubleshooting

• Activation fails with a network error — check that you can reach https://greenlightdash.pro in a browser. Corporate proxies can block the validation endpoint.
• Pro features disappear after a week offline — the grace period expired. Reconnect to the internet briefly and the app re-validates silently.
• Lost license key — request a re-send from the support form linked from Help & Resources → Support & Bug Report Forum.
