Invite editors and viewers to your boardsYesYes

A few details:

  • The PRO allowance of three shared boards is a lifetime count, not a count of active boards. Detaching or deleting a shared board does not give the slot back. When the three are used, the wizard says so and points at the Team plan.
  • Joining needs any PRO license — the regular tier is enough, and it’s what most invitees need.
  • The plan is checked at the wizard door, before anything is created in Cloudflare.

See License Activation for activating a license, and the pricing page for the Team plan.

Cloudflare costs

GreenLight never bills for collaboration; the only possible cost is your Cloudflare account, and for most teams that is zero.

Cloudflare’s free plan includes, per day, 100,000 Worker requests, 100,000 database rows written and 13,000 GB-seconds of room time, plus 10 GB of R2 storage per month. In practice the binding limit is rows written, which works out to roughly 25–30 person-hours of active editing per day — a five-person team editing full-time, or ten people part-time. Idle rooms cost nothing: a room hibernates as soon as nobody is typing, even while the boards stay open.

Beyond that, Cloudflare’s Workers Paid plan starts at $5/month and lifts every limit to metered pricing that stays in the cents for a team of any plausible size. Media-heavy teams reach R2’s 10 GB before anything else; R2 storage costs $0.015 per GB-month above it, with no egress charges.

Prices are Cloudflare’s and change over time — check cloudflare.com/plans before relying on them.

Hard limits

LimitValue
Media file size50 MB per file
Operations per client60 per 10 seconds — faster senders are throttled, not cut off
Invite codeSingle-use; one code per person
Presence identityOne per machine (multiple windows count as one person)
Room service addressMust be https and public — private and local addresses are refused

What doesn’t collaborate yet

  • Video Editor projects and Mockup projects stay on the machine that made them.
  • Undo is local; a stale undo becomes a conflict entry rather than reverting a teammate’s work.
  • Removing a member or revoking an invite from the panel.
  • Following another person’s viewport.

Privacy

  • The room, the board data and the media live in the owner’s Cloudflare account. GreenLight servers never store, see or relay board content.
  • Invitees never learn the owner’s Cloudflare details; the invite code carries only the room’s public address and a token for that one room.
  • On the owner’s machine the Cloudflare API token and the room provisioning key are stored in the OS credential store (macOS Keychain, Windows DPAPI), never in a plain file.
  • The diagnostics report you can copy for support never includes tokens.
