Smart Grouping

Smart Grouping reorganises a messy canvas with one click. It clusters elements by colour, type, or aspect ratio, and lays them out in tidy rows.

Run it

Click Organize in the bottom toolbar. Pick a strategy:

  • By type — images, videos, notes, and shapes grouped into separate rows.
  • By dominant colour — clusters elements with similar colour palettes.
  • By aspect ratio — landscape, portrait, and square buckets.
  • By creation date — chronological rows.

The app calculates an arrangement and previews it. Confirm to apply, or Undo if it is not what you wanted.

Manual grouping

Select two or more elements and press Cmd / Ctrl-G to group them. Grouped elements move and resize together. Cmd / Ctrl-Shift-G ungroups.

A group acts like a single element on the canvas but keeps its members editable — double-click a member to edit it without breaking the group.
