Media Manager Panel

The Media Manager is a floating panel that shows every file in the board’s media folder. Drag files onto the canvas, between boards, or out to other apps without leaving GreenLight DashBoard.

Open the panel

Click Media Library in the top-right corner of the canvas. The panel floats over the canvas; drag its title bar to reposition, drag the bottom-right corner to resize.

Click again to hide.

What’s inside

The panel shows the contents of the current board’s folder, including:

• All imported files (from URL pastes, file drops, Telegram).
• All AI-generated media, video-project renders (including MotionFast layers), and HTML card renders.
• Thumbnails and posters for videos.

Items are sorted by most recent by default. Switch to Name, Size, or Type with the sort dropdown.

Filter and search

A search box at the top filters by file name. Filter chips below it narrow by type: Images, Videos, HTML, Audio, Documents.

Switch boards

The board switcher at the top of the panel lets you peek into other boards’ media without opening them. Pick a board → its media replaces the current list. Drag a file out and you can drop it onto the active canvas — the file is copied across.

Drag targets

The Media Manager supports drag to:

• Canvas — drops the file as a new element at the cursor.
• Frame — drops as a child of the frame, respecting its layout.
• Finder / Explorer — drag to the OS to copy out.
• Another app — many apps accept a drag from the panel directly.

Play and trim clips in place

Videos carry a round play button on their tile — pressing it opens an inline player under that row of tiles, with a scrub bar and running time. Audio opens the same player. A clip’s actions sit under its player:

• Trim swaps the player for an inline trimmer — a preview, a drag-handle range bar, step-a-frame buttons (←/→ on the keyboard; I/O set the range), and an editable output name. Saving writes a new file next to the original in the same folder, with its own proxy and thumbnail; the source clip is never touched. Trims are cut without re-encoding, so the saved clip snaps to the nearest keyframe and can run a fraction of a second longer than the range you set.
• Enlarge opens the file in the lightbox (stills carry Enlarge in the same corner slot).

The bar at the panel’s foot acts on a selection: the count with Move / Download / Delete on top, and Add (plus Replace in the editor) below. The trimmer can be hidden with App settings → Trim clips in the Media Manager.

File actions

Right-click any tile:

• Reveal in Finder / Explorer — opens the OS file browser at the file location.
• Copy file — adds the file to the clipboard for paste elsewhere.
• Rename
• Delete from folder — deletes the underlying file; any canvas elements that referenced it become broken until you remove them.

Where the folder is

The board folder lives under the app data directory.
