GLEA

GLEA (GreenLight Editor Agent) is the Video Editor’s agent: a terminal on the editor’s Agents rail page where a coding-agent CLI edits the project you have open. It already knows the open project, its board and the app’s project API, and its changes appear in your timeline as it works. GLEA is a PRO feature.

The full guide is Agent-Driven Editing with GLEA. To install and sign in to a CLI, see GLAI.

Open GLEA in the desktop app

  1. Open a project in the Editor view.
  2. Click Agents on the editor’s left rail.
  3. In the select at the top of the page, choose how to run it: Claude Code CLI, Codex, Antigravity CLI, OpenCode, or Clean terminal — a plain shell in the board folder with no agent.
  4. Click + to start it, then type your request in plain language.

The GLEA button in the top bar does the same from the header: GLEA for Claude Code CLI, GLEA for Codex, GLEA for Antigravity CLI and GLEA for OpenCode open the Agents page and start that agent. The menu also has Documentation and Copy Board Skill Path. In the Mockups view, the same menu opens GLEA next to the Mockup Generator’s options, working on the open mockup project.

On GreenLight Dash Server

The server has no built-in terminal. Its GLEA menu lists the same four CLIs; each opens a window that connects that CLI on your own computer to the server: create a token with the owner password (or paste one), then copy the commands that download the board skill and start the CLI.

What GLEA can do

  • Create projects at a chosen size and frame rate.
  • Add clips, images, text, audio, shapes, HTML clips and MotionFast templates.
  • Trim, sequence and cut, and add transitions.
  • Set keyframes and ƒx expressions.
  • Write Layer Effects and Overlay Effects, and build particle systems.
  • Render the whole project, a slice of it, or a single frame.

Changes reload in the open editor within a couple of seconds; Reload editor changes in the Agents page header pulls them at once.
