- Clipping masks now render in exported video — shapes and clipping masks were being dropped from the server render — the finished file showed the raw footage with no masking. Frames are now captured exactly as composited, so masks, shapes, text and all layering appear in the render just like the preview.
- Masks inside sequences work on the main timeline — a shape mask placed inside a sequence used to flatten to a plain shape once that sequence sat on the main project timeline; it now composites correctly in the preview and in every export.
- Cleaner broken-media warning — the “broken media clips” notice now sits at the top of the editor next to the render progress bar instead of floating over the timeline and covering your clips.
- Sub Boards turn clutter into structure — select cards on the canvas and use Create Sub Board to move them into a new child board, leaving a compact Sub Board card that opens the new board on double-click.
- Folder drops can become boards — dropping a folder now offers Put as Sub Board, building a child board from the folder’s media and placing a live reference card on the current canvas.
- Boards panel search and filters — the Blocks area gained a search field under the type chips with title and note-text matching, and side panels now sit cleanly above the canvas controls.
v4.7.0 — Clipping masks land in your renders, plus Sub Boards
