- Render videos in the background — the video editor’s Download button is now a Render Video menu. Render in Window (Safe) is the familiar in-editor export; Render in Background hands the project to a headless server renderer and frees the editor so you can keep working. Background renders are full-fidelity — captions, voiceovers, keyframe animation, filters and transitions all baked in — and the finished video drops onto your board automatically.
- Always know when something’s working — long server tasks now show a Rendering… chip beside the Render button and a bottom-left Processing… badge (background renders, YouTube/social downloads, audio extraction). It keeps showing across tabs, and finished renders appear on the canvas live.
- Scene-detection storyboards — turn a video into a storyboard by auto-detecting its scene cuts and laying the frames out for you.
- Cleaner YouTube & social downloads — downloads now prefer MP4 (H.264) over WebM, fixing clips that used to come through as a black screen or wouldn’t play.
- Send to your Telegram bot without the terminal — push a media file or text message straight to your default bot’s chat, with no
/terminalconnection required. - Audio-extraction improvements and Linux fixes.
