- A new editor layout — the timeline runs full-width under the media panel, preview and inspector — the CapCut / Premiere arrangement — so far more of your edit fits on screen, and the gap above it is the handle that resizes it.
- Layer inspector on a rail — a vertical icon rail — Layer, Animate, Position, Design, Effects, Mask, Tracking, 3D, Sound — shows one group of sections at a time with everything open; a dot marks a group holding a change, the inspector resizes from its left edge, and a layer’s delete sits in its title box.
- Four new overlay effects — Film Stock (PRO) emulates fourteen analog stocks with halation, bloom, grain and light leaks; Double Exposure (PRO) puts another layer’s picture inside this layer’s silhouette; Copy Color Profile takes another layer’s colour profile; Fractal Noise brings the After Effects fog, smoke, cloud and heat-haze generator.
- Pixel Blocks transition — the next clip arrives behind a front of pixel blocks that sweeps in any direction, bursts from or collapses to a point, or dissolves at random — also usable as a layer entrance or exit, with a Colour wipe mode.
- MotionFast: Advanced Typewriter and eleven new entrances — a PRO typewriter with one continuously eased caret, a gradient inside freshly typed letters, ten character-in styles and five erase mechanics; Title Push and Kinetic Typography gain eleven entry animations and Word Reveal Title a Last Word Outro; the gallery shows pre-rendered stills and templates load only when used.
- Keyframe builder zoom and camera capture keys — ⌘/Ctrl + wheel stretches the keyframe tracks up to 16× around the playhead with a scrubbable ruler and overview strip; in Capture Camera, C keys the current pose and D the default pose.
- Effects cost nothing when unused — Bloom, Film Stock, Double Exposure, Echo, Motion Trail, TimeShift, Repetile and the transition packages skip their work at zero amount and hand back their GPU memory a few seconds after they stop being used — even while paused.
