- Masks with real tools, and Magic Mask on pictures — the Pen selects, drags and re-shapes anchors and tangents without a trip back to Select, undo steps one point at a time, enabling a mask no longer seeds a rectangle, and an image layer’s Magic Mask traces whatever you loop with the Person / Object / Colour models, then copies the outline to a mask you can fine-tune.
- Pryzm — a new layer effect that puts the layer behind fluted, ringed or diamond-cut glass with true spectral dispersion, frost, bloom, cell magnify and 31 keyframable parameters — and it survives a transition.
- Chroma Key borders and shadows follow the subject — the outline hugs the keyed silhouette and the shadow is cast by it, in preview, export and through transitions. Gradient Motion Beam can mask the original layer so a sweep becomes a travelling reveal.
- Prerender a sequence — one button renders a heavy group to a transparent video in the background and the preview plays that instead of the live inner timeline; static text and shape layers stop repainting every frame, paused alpha-WebM scrubbing is instant, the sidebar is resizable, and Render current frame keeps its alpha.
- Table cards are a spreadsheet — Add table from the canvas or press Edit on any CSV card for cells, rows, columns, clipboard round-trips with Excel and Sheets, undo, and live formulas — SUM, IF, COUNTIF, TEXTJOIN and dozens more — that stay written as formulas in the file.
- Photoshop and Illustrator on the board — .psd, .psb, .ai and .ait land as project cards showing the real artwork with an Edit-in-app button that finds the real Adobe app, and Cmd+V after a copy in either app pastes the layer as an alpha PNG or the selection as true SVG.
- New AI models — GPT Image 2.5 (Sunburst and Flare, text-to-image and edit), MiniMax H3 Video Extend and Video Edit, SAM 3 Video in a new Roto category, and the Card Corridor MotionFast template (PRO).
- Sturdier collaboration and desktop — failed media uploads on a shared board retry instead of vanishing, proxies and thumbnails survive the trip, notes sync last-writer-wins without a conflict per keystroke, reopening the app from the dock no longer gives a black window, and the post-update cache clear actually runs.
- Smaller fixes — media sidebar rows get their width back behind a single ⋯ menu, browser drags into the Media dock work, same-named downloads no longer replace each other, card-menu moves act on the whole selection, Markdown tables survive reopening, and Threads and Facebook share links parse again.
